Full-Time position

Elliot's House Pet Care is looking for a self-motivated,professional to join our Pet Care Management Team. We currently operate from Somerville, MA so come and start your long-term career with us. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn about our business, loves pets, and can demonstrates a proven track record of providing an excellent client service experience.

The right candidate will be able to oversee the complete operation of our center, from daily operations and staff management to customer service and public relations. Experience with Animal Handling and staff management is preferred. We offer all full-time Team Members: 2 weeks Paid vacation, 1-week sick time, 12 paid holidays

Job Responsibilities/Duties

Must be 18 years of age or older
Previous managementexperience is a must, and able tosubmit creditable references
Must be willing to submit to a Background Check by Verified firstupon Hire
Must have a working cell phone and be able to quickly and effectively respond to all inquiries from our team (iPhone, or Android 4.2 or newer with e-mail and text messaging service required)
Must have a love for animals and a strong comfort level with both dogs and cats

Ensure an excellent client experience through personal contact, associate training, and coaching, resolution of customer concerns, and delivery of services
Personnel management including recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and counseling.
Ensures center compliance with federal and local labor laws
Facility maintenance and safety; compliance with laws and regulations
Schedules staff for work assignments in accordance with policy, allowing ample staff to provide outstanding service while maintaining a budget.
Inventory control and purchasing per company policy and budget guidelines. Prepare and analyze statistical and financial data
Promote Elliot's Houseprograms and services internally and in the surrounding communities
Ability to lift 40 pounds frequently and be on feet for eight hours a day
3 years of management experience overseeing 20 + employees Bachelors degree preferred but not required
